Unofficially, the most consecutive games that Central has shut out an opponent is five, during the 1932 season, followed by four games spanning the 1971 and 1972 seasons. The 1930 team has the most shut outs in a season with seven, followed by the 1971 and 1989 teams with six each; one of the '89 team's shut outs was in the playoffs.
